Out of Control Congress… and Out of Touch! By Jeff Bruzzo  This Sunday, I had the honor of joining a small, but very inquisitive group of concerned citizens, of NY’s 4th Congressional District. As is always the case, I bring my trademark field camera with me to get as much footage as possible, where other media outlets don’t figure it is worth their time. The setting was the St. Patrick’s Parade: The stage was Garden City, NY, home of Carolyn McCarthy, with members of CSA (Conservative Society For Action). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-v4kiN5NtE8&feature=player_embedded  In putting putting a theme together for this one, look no further than finding Rep. McCarthy herself. Previous videos on You Tube (including a version by PSC), show a Congresswoman who doesn’t seem to be present to speak with her constituents, but has plenty of time to jet all over the world (on your dime I might add) and make herself present for Nancy Pelosi as a lap dog. I, being the citizen journalist at hand, decided to make this one a bit more interesting. Showing members of CSA was one thing, but what about the actual people on the street? We have done this type of video before… where we interview, in short segments, real people. Street beat footage is where we’re in touch with the people. We know how Congress is out of control, with trillion Dollar shortfalls, and scandal after scandal. We see the flagrant abuses, one after another, of Constitutional power, but still do nothing as citizenry: We have let them do this through out inaction and complacency. That being said, the out of touch aspect of Congress follows right along side being out of control. Judging the reactions we received when asking ordinary people one simple question, “have you seen our Congresswoman, have you seen Carolyn McCarthy?” I would make the safe assumption she is out of touch, as well as out of control! This is what is shaping up to be a systematic disease affecting every incumbent, especially the liberal pols who cast their vote for the Oba-Messiah and his one-world utopia on Earth. Look no further than Ackerman, Pelosi, etc.; they feel the job is an entitlement, not a privilege. To summarize this in a nutshell, what the video shows, are the people very much in touch with reality and very much in control of their destiny (evidenced by Scott Brown’s win). What the video can’t show you is how the outcome of the election will turn out for McCarthy. Judging by the reaction on the street, they know she is a dead beat, but let’s see if complacency can take second stage, as CSA member Dan Maloney, present at the parade, in the video, takes the nod as her challenger. Incumbents bet the horses that YOU will go back to your ways at the voting booth and throw your money on the same old horse. If I was Carolyn McCarthy, I wouldn’t be to proud of what I saw and heard coming from the parade goers, Fire Departments , and bystanders… but then again, what has she done to make them proud of her?  If I was Jimmy “The Greek”, after seeing this video, I’d put the odds on McCarthy as a long shot.
