ACORN, Obama, & Father John Baumann: Using religion to achieve Alinsky’s goal. By Jeff Bruzzo Director & Editor of Project Shining City http://www.projetshiningcity.org It was about a week ago, when a group, Queens Congregations United for Action, came to a school in Queens, to recruit teachers. Brochures in hand, they met with the teachers in small groups, preaching the message of helping communities through “faith based” organizations, much like theirs. With a message of “helping” people, who would think otherwise? In the name of true journalism, I have uncovered the secret agenda of this group, as they infiltrate the poorer communities through the use of churches: liberal Protestant, black liberation (Rev. Wright), and the more liberal of the Catholic congregations. It should have come as no surprise when they came into the schools:  Marxism, under the guise of indoctrination, is taking place as well in the local religious establishments.      Much of what exists on this group can be found though its blatantly advertised parent group, PICO (People Improving Communities Through Organizing) . The key to understanding what’s around you is to take note of certain ‘KEY’ words, or code words. As Glenn Beck and others have so diligently found out, these groups are spread out like the tentacles of a jelly fish; the shadows of evil hiding behind every turn. I didn’t have a very hard time finding the true roots of QCUA, after a little digging. • Social justice • Organizing • Communities • Affordable housing • Immigration reform • Healthcare for all   PICO was founded in 1972 by a Jesuit Priest, Father John Baumann. This can be found at PICO’s own website: http://www.piconetwork.org/about?id=0006  OK you ask… so what can be wrong with a Priest trying to do some good? It seems Karl Marx left out one extra plank of communism, the take over of religion for the “good” of the people. Father John even learned how to be a community organizer in of all places: Chicago! Every movement has its Mecca… Chicago being that of the communist revolution in America. The Money Trail   If there is one thing which we have learned about this vast leftist conspiracy, it is that the audit trail of funding is complex. Records show both ACORN and a group known as CCHD (Catholic Campaign for Human Development) have both funneled funding to PICO over the years, starting with their Saul Alinsky connections back in Chicago in the early 1970’s. Most of the groups, besides PICO, were also founded by radical Catholic priests as well. If you need to find the actual audit trail, I will make a suggestion: All of these groups are registered 501(C)3 companies (non-profits), which, by law, have to furnish their books to the public, showing where the money came from and where it went. Check out the IRS website also… www.irs.gov   I will make a strong bet that none of them have been audited, though the corruption and embezzlement are rampant. The following can be read in a recent article by Mathew Vadum, www.humanevents.com , he states the following: “It must have been a sad day at the offices of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) in Washington, D.C., last year when the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) announced that its temporary suspension of funding for the embattled radical group ACORN was being made permanent.” Father John, Obama, and Saul Alinsky As I wrap up my brief on QCUA and PICO, take a hard look at where the group came from, who they are associated with, and where they stand now. It’s a frightening aspect of the “silent coup” when we cannot even go into a Church or Synagogue any more without wondering who the elders are collecting the money for. Father John was an admirer of Alinsky, as well as his early beginnings benefiting from funding by Alinsky’s group, Industrial Areas Foundation . The use of religion to promote radical socialism (communism) should also come as no surprise either.   To that effect, take note that our Community Organizer-in-Chief, Barack Obama, ran a group called the “Developing Communities Project”, back in the 1980’s, and that his office was housed in the Holy Rosary Church of Chicago. All the while sitting in the pew of one of Chicago’s most radical preachers, Rev. Wright. The (Catholic) Campaign for Human Development helped fund the project and so, very early on, my career was intertwined with the belief in social justice that is so strong in the Church.” Back to the keywords: • Social justice • Community Organizing What it all means   Add the 11th plank of the Communist manifesto, which Marx must have left behind, somewhere in his travels, from New York to Europe… Subversion of culture through the state control and indoctrination of religion. Combine that with the indoctrination we see in education; leaving us at the mercy of the words of radical communists. Thank you QCUA for bringing this to my attention… for I am ever more convinced Marx is laughing in his grave, now that his followers have achieved a Coup d'état in your name, on November 4th, 2008. It is now up to the American people to re-educate themselves.
