The Progressive Empire:
in a battle for your hearts and souls
Much of what I hear, lately, only reinforces my belief that we are in a battle for the hearts and souls of the American people. As we cheer the victory of Scott brown in Massachusetts, as we cheer the illusion of victory in healthcare, we must remember it comes down to numbers. Generally speaking, the majority wins… it’s been like that for a long time. Yet, the Progressive socialist-communists in charge of Washington are in the frame of mind that the minority of opinion is in charge: The media machine is in an all out war of propaganda to change your direction of thought.
To that effect, as I go back through history, there comes to mind a particular battle for the hearts and souls of people… Gettysburg. It was here that the economic machine of slavery pitted the populous of the south against the north. The mindset of a few controlled the minds of many, in believing theirs was a just war, so the south was to believe. These few are very much like the progressives of today’s battle… where the few seem to control the minds of many. On the same scale, they are the same, wanting nothing less than absolute control and economic domination over the minions at their feet. The fools who back them don’t realize their fate is sealed with a kiss.
Yes, I believe the majority will prevail. The overall good of the American people will out shine the totalitarian scheme of Soros, Obama, and their financiers. But when?
Harkened back to Gettysburg, Obama (General Lee), seeks to keep an entire economic class enslaved, in its modern day system of entitlement and hand out acceptance. Yet, I don’t think he and his puppet masters quite understand the historical significance of the battle. The majority did prevail, as usual, in the end. Though the Confederates had the advantage of a pre-game plan and Northern complacency, the majority of Americans rose up to the cause and rallied against oppression. (Only to be returned to it by progressive policy later on). Mr. Obama, have your Hawaiian history books been stricken of this information too? Or has your history been skewed by something else, such as Indonesian-Muslim philosophy?
The way I see it is like this… The socialist-communist progressives have had the advantage of surprise. They have arranged the machine in a calculative fashion, to orchestrate the take-over of the hearts and minds of the American people. Slowly, but surely, they have engaged in a battle for education, media, culture, and spiritual connection with churches and synagogues, to make you think their answer of economic enslavement (welfare and entitlement) is the cure for our global ills.
If this “Gettysburg” corollary goes further, I hope you and Oba-Mao know what the outcome of the battle was. Yes, the majority did win, but at a severe cost. The battle DID turn the direction of the war, though. Think it over.
http://www.gettysbg.com/battle.shtml reports the following:
With the failure of Pickett's Charge, the battle was over - the Union was saved. Lee's retreat began on the afternoon of July 4. Behind him, this small town of only 2,400 was left with a total (from both sides) of over 51,000 casualties. Over 172,000 men and 634 cannon had been positioned in an area encompassing 25 square miles. Additionally, an estimated 569 tons of ammunition was expended and, when the battle had ended, 5,000 dead horses and the other wreckage of war presented a scene of terrible devastation.
Of course, I am “economically” making a parallel…
