"Don’t Trust the Progressive
Governor Chris Christie"
By Bill Miller
I have been an active member of the Tea Party
since its inception. I am the author of The
Tea party Papers Volume I; The American Spiritual Evolution Versus the French
political Revolution. I have worked with many Tea Party groups in New
Jersey, New York, Delaware and Pennsylvania, as well as elsewhere. I was the recipient of the 2011 New Jersey
Betsy Ross Grass Roots Advocate last summer.
Chris Christie is not a conservative; he is a Progressive
Republican and has been at odds with the general consensus of the New Jersey
Tea Party groups and conservative organizations since day one. He is not to be
trusted. Shortly after his election, I attended a meeting with several Tea Party
leaders and conservative candidates in an effort to induce Christie to support
the other States efforts to sue the administration over Obama Care. Christie
wanted none of it. Thank God for Steve Lonegan of Americans For
Prosperity, which has attempted to keep a fire under this "big
government" Republican. I have previously wrote a litany of all the times
this man has been at cross purposes with the Tea Party groups over taxes,
spending, appointments of judges ,etc.
The Lame Stream media has made him into a
"Conservative" hero; he is not one of us. He runs his month to get
the press, but has really not done much of anything here in New Jersey, but to
(Quote Christie himself) "Hold the line."
Think of it as the difference between beginning dating
someone and being in a long term relationship to someone. Starry eyed at first
meeting, after being in a relationship for a while, you realize "I don’t
want to marry this one." That is how Christie is; all of you starry eyed
lovers need a dose of reality. We will be lucky if we can get a conservative
here by the time this "big mouth’s" term is done: The people tired of it will revert to another
Dem. This is the dilemma we all get when we elect a so called
"moderate."
Now this pseudo socialist calls Newt Gingrich "An
embarrassment to the Party"; Christie is
the real embarrassment. I will actively campaign against him for a real
conservative like Steve Lonegan.
Let me be clear, I only prefer Romney to Obama himself. This
is the worst case scenario. I would actively support Gingrich, Santorum or Paul
before the "Establishment Candidate" Romney. That is how I will vote.
George Bush created Obama, he was no conservative, he over
spent and expanded the federal government. Every time we get one of these
pseudo Progressive Socialists in Republican clothing, we pay a price.
What the Progressive Republican Machine has forgotten is
that the Tea Party was as much a reaction to Bush as Obama.
If Chris Christie doesn’t want Newt Gingrich,
that means Newt Gingrich should be our nominee for President.
