We're Doing Our Part!

The Tavern Wall...

Throughout history, the tavern has been the meeting place for people to come together, share thoughts & ideas, and debate issues.  Most of the original ideas and initial planning for the American Revolution took place in venues like this.  You would find there, the likes of Sam Adams, his cousin John Adams, and Ben Franklin, discussing thought and politics. Nothing has changed! This website for one, having started our mission in a tavern, as did so many of you for the Glenn Beck Meetups!

We can and MUST make a difference! To quote Gene Kranz of the NASA Apollo years.. "Failure is not an option".. it's our country! As we have passed the 40th anniversary of the moon landing...reflect on it and remember how it made you feel to be American. No need to apologize to the world for that!

Sam Adams and his cousin John Adams were delegates to the first continental congress. For the next nine years, Samuel Adams took an active and important part in the work of the congress. Probably no other man did so much as he did to bring about the declaration of independence. He "stirred men's souls", he dared when others teetered, he inspired when others weakened. He continued to serve in Congress until the war was nearing its end. He held local offices in Massachusetts and succeeded John Hancock as governor.
